I stayed at Marions with my son en route to Newcastle from London. I was looking for somewhere to stay a little off the main road and Sherwood Forest piqued our interest. The accommodation is comfortable and as described. Marion was great, giving us the tips for seeing the local points of interest and her pubs of choice for the evening. Unfortunately we had to leave early, having got an email saying we had to be in Newcastle 3 hours earlier than expected, and so missed the breakfast. In leaving early, my son left his favourite basketball top behind but when I contacted Marion she forwarded it on and it was with us within a couple of days. Thank you.
